We are here to ensure the pet or live animal import to GB or the EU you intend, will be found compliant upon arrival. You are planning to bring your pet , or to import live animals. We are here to support and advise you throughout the entire process.
All you need to do is to let us know your objective and we will guide you through the entire pre-export veterinary preparation. We will ensure that all the documents are compliant with the GB or the EU requirements. Upon arrival everything should go straightforward. In case something doesn’t go according to our plan, we will advocate your case with the official authorities, to make sure that the best possible outcome is achieved.

How this works
Explained
GB imports
If you are a pet owner or you intend a live animal import to GB, you can request and book our service from your GB Custom Agent. They will confirm your booking and will ensure communication channels are established. If this is not possible please contact us directly.
As soon as we receive confirmation of your request, we will contact you by e-mail with your booking reference no, and advice you on the following steps’ details.
We will keep close e-mail/phone contact with you advising and guiding you about all GB entry veterinary requirements: identification, vaccinations, treatments, tests, isolation.
Having these done, the traveling documents preparation follows.
At this stage we will give specific guidance of:
- what documents are required,
- who must complete the documents,
- what details need to be filled in,
- how the documents must be completed,
- when the documents need to be completed.
Especially, but not only, if you travel/import from a remote country you might need to pass our guidelines to your Vet preparing the actual documents. Or you can put us in contact so we will guide your Vet throughout this process.
Now having all preparation complete, we will review the file to make sure all aspects are satisfactory, and we will issue the PTA Documentary Pre-Checks Certificate.
Finally, we will advise you about the document pack accompanying your pet / animal import during the trip.
If all steps are followed according to our advice, chances to have Entry Granted for your pet/animal import are maximal.
EU imports
If you are a pet owner or you intend a live animal import to the EU, you can request our service via our on-line booking system.
As soon as you’ll receive the booking confirmation e-mail, we will contact you by e-mail with your booking reference no, and advice you on the following steps’ details.
We will keep close e-mail/phone contact with you advising and guiding you about all EU entry veterinary requirements: identification, vaccinations, treatments, tests, isolation.
Having these done, the traveling documents preparation follows.

What problems can occur upon arrival?
Pets
The microchip cannot be scanned by Official Veterinarian/Pet Checker.
The Puppy’s/Kitten’s age can be easily challenged, being in discrepancy with the documents.
The documents presented are different or suffered amendments after the PTA Certificate was issued.
The documents went missing during transport.
Pet Birds
The microchip cannot be scanned by Official Veterinarian
The Pet Bird’s leg ring went missing during transport.
The documents presented are different or suffered amendments.

Other Birds
The microchip cannot be scanned by Official Veterinarian

Horses
The horse has no microchip and it also mismatch with the silhouette presented.
The documents presented are different or suffered amendments.

Species and/or numbers declared in documents mismatch with the animals imported.
